Описание: My Journey 40 Kent Walks Challenge:    • Bridge to Bishopsbourne – and Back Again!  

Join me on a classic British summer walk — complete with rain — as I explore the stunning coastline around St Margaret's at Cliffe in Kent. This short but scenic walk starts in the village with the church bells ringing, setting the perfect mood.

We begin by heading up the bridleway to the Dover Patrol Memorial, where a Sunday service was taking place. From there, we follow The Lees for breathtaking views of the English Channel and the famous White Cliffs of Dover.

The route then descends to St Margaret’s Bay, before climbing back up along the Saxon Shore Way. Along the way, we explore Pine Gardens, home to unique statues and quiet green spaces — a real hidden gem.

Despite the rain, we reach the beautiful South Foreland Lighthouse, perched dramatically on the cliffs, before returning to St Margaret's at Cliffe village to finish the loop.
