Quick video showing what it's like cooking on the Outdoor Gourmet Cast Iron pans. These are factory smooth pans sold at @academy outdoor stores.
I'm not a cast iron expert, I'm just learning as I go along. I don't own Smithey, Finex, Stargazer, Or any other factory smooth pans. So I don't have anything to compare to as of today.
I do own a Lodge but it's not very smooth. I do find it a little harder to cook on. Maybe a Lodge Blacklock would be a better comparison.
At the time of this video you could get all three pans for $70 to $80.
