Anti-royalist protesters staged a gathering outside Parliament in London on Tuesday, to speak out against the ascension of King Charles III. Among the protesters was Paul Powlesland, a lawyer who went viral the day before for claiming the police had threatened to arrest him if he displayed a sign that read, ‘Not my king.’
Scotland Yard has since issued a statement claiming that ‘the public absolutely have a right to protest.’
