In the Azores, besides research laboratories, we manage long-term monitoring plots located within the Laurissilva Forest, where we focus on arthropod, bryophyte, and vascular plant biodiversity and ecosystem monitoring. These plots are essential for studying species interactions and environmental changes in island ecosystems, contributing to our understanding of insular biodiversity and evolutionary dynamics.
