Custom Wine Storage: Episode #5 Full build of second cabinet

Описание: In this video, I build a custom wine storage cabinet for inside my wine cellar. This cabinet has six drawers which each hold 28 bottles of wine and two panels which will largely be covered by bins to be built in the future. In the prior short series, I built a smaller but very similar unit and did that in parts with more detail so you can refer to those if you'd like. Look for links within this video.

In this video, I start with the cabinet boxes I built off camera from 3/4 inch plywood using pocket screws. This process was covered in a prior video which is linked. After these boxes are installed in the cellar, I build a face frame out of white oak using Domino joinery with two white oak plywood panels. The face frame gets sanded, stained, and finished with polyurethane prior to being installed with glue and pin nails.

Heavy duty, full extension drawer slides are installed in the boxes. Next, drawer boxes are built from 1/2 inch plywood with a unique approach for strengthening using shop made walnut loose tenons like dovetails and the Domino mortiser.

After the drawers are installed on the slides, I make and install solid white oak drawer faces and then beautiful pulls from Ageless Iron Hardware are installed to finish off this phase of the project.
