This recipe provides complete protein, since beans and wheat complement each other's amino acids. This is an excellent way to cover your nutritional needs using cheap natural foods which are very nutritious. The pickled beet adds wonderful taste and color.
2 cups cooked giant beans in tomato sauce.
1 clove of garlic
2 pieces pickled beet
½ teaspoon salt
Pinch of black pepper
For serving:
Whole wheat bread, Greek rye rusks or Brown Pasta.
