Quick Cuts Add-on For Blender Video Editor

Quick Cuts lets you take notes on key split times, deletions, moves, and then apply them all at once when ready; an editing shorthand you can actually execute inside Blender’s video editor.

Imagine simply watching the video you want to edit, in your favorite video player, and jotting down the times you'd like to edit (comments added as a guide):

split 31s 1m4s # Split by minutes/seconds.
4m 5.5m # New line, same split command, specified as decimal.
[6m 10m30s] # Range specification (more useful for deletion)
18642 20100 # Time specified as frames directly.
del even # Deletes the even sequences
del each [+5s -10s] # Trims 5s off start and 10s off end of each sequence.
pack left # Moves sequences to the left until they hit other sequences or the start frame.

With the Quick Cuts addon, these notes can be interpreted and executed.
