The monsoon has begun to make its arrival across the country. This year, the monsoon reached Kerala approximately three days later than its usual schedule. Typically, the monsoon arrives in Kerala on June 1st; however, its onset was slightly delayed this time around. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to advance into several parts of Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu over the next two to three days. Additionally, the monsoon is likely to progress further into other regions of the Bay of Bengal and the states of Northeast India. The Meteorological Department has indicated that heavy rainfall may occur at various locations across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka over the coming seven days. Meanwhile, states such as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and several others may experience strong winds, thunderstorms, and rainfall due to pre-monsoon activity.

देशभर में मानसून ने दस्तक देना शुरू कर दिया है। इस बार मानसून सामान्य तारीख से करीब 3 दिन देर से केरल पहुंचा है। आमतौर पर मानसून 1 जून को केरल पहुंच जाता है, लेकिन इस बार इसकी एंट्री थोड़ी देर से हुई। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार अगले 2 से 3 दिनों में मानसून गोवा, महाराष्ट्र, आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक और तमिलनाडु के कई हिस्सों तक पहुंच सकता है। इसके साथ ही बंगाल की खाड़ी के कुछ और इलाकों और पूर्वोत्तर भारत के राज्यों में भी मानसून आगे बढ़ने की संभावना है। मौसम विभाग ने बताया है कि केरल, तमिलनाडु और कर्नाटक में अगले 7 दिनों के दौरान कई जगहों पर भारी बारिश हो सकती है। वहीं मध्य प्रदेश, राजस्थान और अन्य कई राज्यों में प्री-मानसून गतिविधियों के कारण तेज हवाएं, गरज-चमक और बारिश देखने को मिल सकती है।
