Many who call themselves Christians are not truly ready for the return of Jesus Christ. The Bible warns that outward religion, church attendance, and moral behavior are not the same as genuine repentance and saving faith. When Christ returns, He will not be looking for religious activity—He will be looking for obedience, holiness, and faithfulness.
Jesus Himself warned that many will say, “Lord, Lord,” yet be rejected because they never truly knew Him (Matthew 7:21–23). The parable of the ten virgins exposes a terrifying reality: some appear prepared on the outside, but lack true oil—true regeneration—on the inside.
This message is a sober call to self-examination, repentance, and true faith in Christ. Now is not the time for lukewarm Christianity. The return of Jesus is near, and eternity is at stake.
