Описание: KETTERING -- A new effort to support the Kettering family who lost four people in a house fire on Craig Drive Thursday morning is bringing the community together. After the Mobley family's home burned down last Thursday, a classmate of one of the surviving victims decided she would use these rainbow looms to show Shaun Mobley and his two surviving daughters that the community is behind them. Now I'm going to need more purples my hands hurt really bad, said eight-year-old Kylie and her mom Amber who decided they wanted to raise money for the Mobley family. Shaun lost his wife, two children and father in-law.It was Kiley's idea, said Amber Latsko. She had seen the fire on the news the morning it happened and we later came to find out it was one of her classmates. She had come to me that night and asked me what she could do to help. It's unimaginable to process the thoughts of going through something like that, said Amber. And of course these rainbow looms are popular right now and that's where the idea just kind of went. All the neighborhood kids are out making these bracelets.Right now we have 175, said Kiley.Plus another 76 that came from a different classmate. We have donations coming in from Sydney, Vandalia, Middletown, said Amber. There's people that are mailing them, dropping them off at my doorstep.Kylie and her friends spent the weekend making the Rainbow looms, Each one takes about ten minutes to make. They will spend the two or three hours in the bedroom working on the bracelets go come back out for some snacks and then go back into it, said Amber. The colors are purple, blue and yellow. That was Alicia and her two boys favorite colors. It's very heartfelt to know there are kids like that out there that will go the distance to help someone out, said Amber. The bracelets will be sold at a donation drive this weekend inside Indian Riffle Elementary School from 1 to 4:00 p.m. You Can also search Mobley Family Fundraiser on Facebook to see how you can get a bracelet. And there are other members of the community doing their part.Kiddie Campus Daycare on Dorothy Lane is holding a bake sale from 3:30 pm to 6 pm tomorrow and Wednesday, with all funds going to the Mobley family.
