A mighty king was angry that day,

But even in the flames so bright,

They stood firm though fear was near,

But God turned fire into gentle light.

The king looked in with widened eyes,
Something strange before his sight.
“I see four walking in the flame,
One looks different, not the same.”

They smiled and sang inside the fire,
Not a hair was touched or tired.
The flames became a shining glow,
And the king saw power he didn’t know.

The king knelt down and loudly said,
“Their God is living!” all had read.
A law was shared across the land,
“To honor Him and understand.”

The friends came out with joyful cheer,
No harm, no pain, no trace of fear.
Together they sang with hearts so bright,
Praising God with all their might.
