The Shareholder Services Association holds an annual fundraising Golf Outing at the Cherry Valley Club in Garden City, New York to benefit deserving college-bound students.
Education is a cornerstone of the Shareholder Services Association. The SSA has established the James R. Smith Scholarship Program to assist members' children and grandchildren who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Renewable $1500 scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student's choice.The application period is generally from November 1 to year-end each year. Participation in the program is open to dependent children and grandchildren of SSA members.
