Predictable songs for something like this would have been “Somebody’s Watching Me” or “Ghostbusters”, but first and foremost, Frogz are a series primarily driven by Hip Hop music. Usher’s “Yeah” is one of the most iconic songs in the Frogz series - the Hip Hop “Yeah” frog was a major hit and sold extremely well, and several other unique variations with the song followed its success.
There were also multiple Beyoncé and 50 Cent Frogz, but only one song from Usher was used in the Frogz. Because of this, I always thought of making another Usher frog, and this song came to mind. It could’ve easily fit into the Hip Hop or Valentine categories, but it ended up being a perfect match for Halloween (which is not always the easiest to fit a song into!) with the play on the word “boo.”
All in all, this is one of my favorite creations, and I would say it checks off all the boxes for when it comes to a great Frogz.
