New players might be puzzled by this strange pairing, but seasoned fans know the music is what makes the world feel coherent, immersive, and alive.
So why does it work? Why do these old melodies feel so fitting in a world of nuclear-powered cars, robots, and laser rifles?

I share my perspective on why Fallout’s music is perfect for its atomic-age alternate universe. As we wander through the ruins of collapsed skyscrapers, there’s nothing quite like the warm crackle of a familiar voice drifting from our trusty Pip-Boy.
