In this short animated video you can learn some basic facts about Venus - the second planet from the Sun: the size comparing, temperature, atmosphere, atmospheric pressure, moons/rings.
Venus is sometimes called Earth’s twin because of their similar size; both also have atmosphere, volcanoes and mountains on their surfaces. Venus is the hottest planet in the Solar System. Its temperature can reach up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit. The atmosphere is very thick and is composed of carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid, which makes it very dangerous for any living thing. The atmospheric pressure on Venus is 90 times higher than Earth’s. There are no rings or moons on Venus.
This educational video is recommended for homeschool, preschool, kindergarten, or elementary school.
