At the heart of the design is the CA6928 Bluetooth module, which handles all wireless connectivity. It receives the audio signal from a phone or other device via Bluetooth, converts it to an analog audio output, and supplies a clean left- and right-channel signal suitable for amplification.
To drive the speakers, the build uses a TPA3110 amplifier board—a popular 2 × 30 W Class-D amplifier chip known for its high efficiency and low heat output. The analog audio output from the CA6928 module is fed directly into the TPA3110’s input stage, where it is amplified to a level powerful enough to drive small bookshelf-size speakers.
