Our twin-screw extruder uses W6Mo5Cr4V2 high-speed tool steel screw, which has been vacuum quenched and heat-treated to a hardness of HRC58-62. It is designed with a 40:1 aspect ratio to enhance the shearing and mixing capacity and ensure that the fillers in the highly filled masterbatch are evenly dispersed without agglomeration.
