Here are several videos taken on April 25 and April 26, 2021, featuring the MTA NYC Subway, in particular the Concourse Line! During the weekends of April 17 and April 24, 2021, D trains were cut back to Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center to allow for inspections on the Manhattan Bridge. As a result, the C, which uses some 8-car Bombardier Transportation R179 trains, was rerouted to Norwood/205th St to provide service on the Concourse Line during the daytime.
The usage of R179 trains on the Concourse Line was halted temporarily on April 17, 2021 when it was found out that 8-car trains' stopping positions did not allow conductors to align correctly with conductor boards at several Concourse Line stations, but the problem was rectified by the following weekend, allowing for use of R179 trains on the Concourse Line once more.
