The road runs along the ridge of the Vosges and offers spectacular views over Alsace and the surrounding mountains. With its long curves, open landscapes and numerous viewpoints, it is a true highlight for motorcycle riders.
The *Route des Crêtes* was originally built during World War I as a strategic road and today it is considered one of the most popular motorcycle routes in France.
