Fort Monroe, James River & the Navy Ships and the Great Bridge Lock! It was a busy day with a lot going on. We visited Fort Monroe and the Casemate Museum, cruised the James river into Norfolk, VA passing the US Navy Ships and then into the Elizabeth River and Portsmouth, VA, eventually docking in Chesapeake, VA at the Great Bridge.
December 16, 2023; 16 days into our adventure.
