I've been teaching ballet for over two years now and what I've noticed is the lack of explanation when it comes to learning new movements.
So often, teachers demonstrate a new step once or twice, don't give a clear breakdown and expect the students to be able to execute it correctly. Ballet steps do need a thorough explanation, you deserve it.
In this video, I break down 8 trickier things we do at the barre to make sure you understand them thoroughly and therefore have the ability to actually improve 💗
