This video documents the current condition of the Burn Bullock, a historic Grade II listed former pub on London Road in Mitcham that suffered a devastating fire on 19 April 2024.
Dating back to the 16th century, the Burn Bullock was once a well-known local landmark and meeting place in Mitcham. The building had been closed for several years and was listed on the Heritage at Risk Register before the fire.
Around 80 firefighters attended the blaze which destroyed the roof and caused major structural damage to the upper floors of the building.
Today the site remains fenced off and secured, with scaffolding and structural works being installed to stabilise the building.
