With both an increase in psychedelic clinical trials and adoption of new regulations allowing access to psychedelic therapies, the need for trained facilitators and therapists who can provide these services becomes vital.
Drawing on the recent developments in policy, this PSYCH Symposium panel discussed the urgency of companies needing to train therapists before this becomes a roadblock for patients and companies, the unique nuances of this specific role, and how crucial they will be in ensuring the development of a roadmap to psychedelic therapies in new markets.
