The non-profit Tata Inti in Barcelona design play spaces for our youngest citizens - the zero to three age group. Playgrounds are usually designed for older kids but the youngest ones - and their parents - need a totally different design thinking and vibe.
There is a lack of daycare facilities in Barcelona so Tata Inti take back the streets and use public space to arrange their pop-up play areas. An idea that is wonderfully simple and incredibly transferable to other cities around the world.
