Presenting an exclusive interview of director Aziz Mirza (Yess Boss, Chalte Chalte, Phir Bhi Dil Hain Hindustani, Circus, etc) in conversation with RJ Divya Solgama. Aziz started the chat with the memories of his childhood days about his father Akhtar Mirza who wrote some classic movies like Naya Daur and Waqt, he spoke about how Waqt was originally written for Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor.

He also shared that big actors like Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor used to come to his house and the entire environment around him was filmy. Aziz spoke about his production days for the movie Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho followed by etching out every character from his personal life in the popular T.V show Nukkad. Khopdi, Raja, Guru, Dukhiya, theres a story behind every character.

Aziz also spoke about a landmark episode which was much befoe The Truman Show in Nukkad. Aziz later spoke about his first iconic meet with Shah Rukh Khan and how he signed him for the television show Umeed followed by some special moments shared with SRK’s mother and how Shah Rukh used to stay at his house in his initial days. Aziz spoke about shooting his T.V show Circus with SRK and some rare anecdotes related to the shooting.

He also shared that Shah Rukh at that point of time was not interested in movies and wanted to only do T.V. Aziz spoke about how they got Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and cleared all the rumors related to Aamir Khan being part of this movie. He spoke about how Shree 420 was the inspiration behind this film and he proudly shared that he was the first one to make Nana Patekar dance in this film.

He spoke about how Saif Ali Khan used to visit Amrita Singh on the sets. Aziz spoke about being the first one to launch Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla in a film followed by his tuning with music director Jatin Lalit and how the songs of this movie were created.
