Is it your first time in Shanghai? My friend Christine and I spent the best 3 days in Shanghai doing all the touristy activities so that you know where to go on your next China trip.

Itineary list:
DAY ONE
Idol-X: Around $50 per person (hair, makeup + outfit… you take your own photos) RedNote: IDOLX666
Shop on Anfu Road: buy souvenir lotions at Qingzhi, shop at Brandy Melville & Subdued
Visit cute cafes: Apoli ItaBakery (Harry potter vibes + endless selections of desserts) & 13DE Marzo (drink comes w/a teddy bear)
Quick stop for the evening for some of the cutest tennis shoes at the Tiger Onitsuka store + more clothes shopping at W Management!
DAY TWO
Eat at a Xiaolong Bao Restaurant: Lai Laixiaolong & drank at a nearby boba shop
Visit Rosita May Cafe + shop around the area (I recommend a nearby traditional Chinese sweet shop called Hong Kong Po Lam Tong Shi)
Went to Rapid Mall to quickly shop for makeup… specifically, Judy Doll!
Hanfu Makeover at the Yuyuan Garden…The Hanfu makeover all costed under $100 per peron… somewhere around $90 ish for the whole transformation. IG: Yujianhanfu
Afterwards, shopped and ate delicious food in the Yuyuan Garden (recommendations = Chinese Black Bean Noodles & Crab Roe Noodles)
DAY THREE (catch up day)
Visit the World Expo Cultural Garden (I recommend to go to the outdoor garden since it’s free)
Drank boba at Chagee (recommend their Jasmine Milk Tea)
Ate hotpot at Haidilao
Shopped on the Nanjing Road for cute toys (Pop Mart, Toy Tots, Miniso, Sanrio Pop-up, Tamagoch Pop-up, anime merch, etc)
Took Pictures at the Pearl Oriental Tower

Pro tip- utilize the taxi if you are tired from walking & standing. Usually cost $3-7 per ride! Use the Alipay app to access their taxi service.

˚⟡˖ ࣪ Clothing stores recommendations ˚⟡˖ ࣪
Brandy Melville: price range is $20-70 per product
pro: basic layering pieces, clean girl aesthetic, daily wear, high quality, and affordable, lots of fitting rooms
Cons: one size for the most part. Some bottoms have size XS-XL. Most one size shirts should fit US size S/M.
Subdued: price range is $20-80 per product
Pro: mix of Brandy & Hollister, has more of a Y2K vibe, good layering pieces, good quality, has multiple different sizes from XS - XL, trendy and has a more mature style
Cons: a bit pricey & the skirts are really short
W-Management: price ranges from $15-80 per product
pro: a cute and preppy Brandy M vibe, youthful, lots of sizes, large clothing selections, & lots of fitting rooms.
Cons: not sure if it’s a con but the styles of the clothing items are a bit too youthful for my taste; for example there’s lots of school uniform clothing pieces.

Restaurants/cafes recommendations
Lai Laixiaolong: must order their crab dumplings!
Haidilao for the best hotpot
Boba: try Molly Tea and/or Chagee
Cafes: Apoli Itabakery (for the best desserts), 13DE Marzo (for cute drinks), & Rosita May (for the cutest Ig pics, non touristy)
Traditioal Chinese Sweet Dessert: Hong Kong Po Lam Tong Shi… for yummy sago dessert!
