Why is Bacalar so POPULAR, the Next Tulum? 🤔

Описание: We traveled to one of Mexico's Pueblo Magicos, Bacalar, known for its gorgeous lagoon: The Lagoon of 7 Colours. Bacalar Mexico has become very popular lately for travelers visiting the south of Mexico. In this video, we will share with you why we think that Bacalar has the potential of becoming the next 'Tulum' of the Mexican Caribbean.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: 12:00 At the time the video was recorded, the staff of Los Rapidos instructed us that we could walk all the way on the “sidewalk” of the rapids. By sidewalk, they actually mean walking on the stromatolite structure itself as it is the only way to navigate upstream. After leaving Bacalar we did a bit of research on stromatolites and learned that this living organism is very sensitive and should not be touched at all. We strongly suggest renting Kayaks to avoid touching this ancient fossil that plays an important role in the ecosystem of the Rapids and the Bacalar lagoon.
