On Rare Disease Day (28th February 2018) I was challenged by my consultant to undertake the 10g fat challenge. This challenge was set by the Lipoprotein Lipase Deficiency Alliance to raise awareness of the rare disorder called Familial Lipoprotein Lipase Deficiency. The only treatment for this disorder is a very low-fat diet. I took up the challenge for the day to put my self in my patients' shoes and understand a bit more about the diet. In this video, I take you through my day and look at the challenges faced.
