In the right situation there's no faster way to pass the guard and go directly to secure side control (go to https://www.grapplearts.com/book for a detailed breakdown of these and other BJJ terms). I used to call this the 'leg swing pass', but the term 'disco pass' is much more descriptive, isn't it?
