Описание: The SVR's Railway 200 Gala saw LMS Royal Scot 46115 "Scots Guardsman" return to service for the first time since 2023, with the Scot standing in for Tornado, which was originally booked for this gala but had to be replaced due to its mainline commitments. The Guardsman proved to be a very popular guest, and it was truly fantastic to see and hear an LMS Scot hard at work once again. The first shot of this video shows 46115 powering away from Northwood Halt and through the woods. This is a location I've visited for many steam galas, but I can safely say that this was the most spirited and noisy departure from the halt that I can remember. Next, we see the Scot running tender-first through the other halt on the line, Country Park Halt. The next shot is of the Scot making a fantastic noise storming up Highley Bank past Alveley Miners' Crossing. The rest of the shots of this video are various clips taken from onboard the train in the front coach heading north and the second coach heading back south (the front coach wasn't an option for this run unfortunately, as it was a fully-booked first class coach). The condensed highlights of this spirited full-line trip include some wheelslip leaving Arley, a fantastic climb up the 1:100 out of Highley, and a storming southbound run through Northwood.
