How to Start a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Business with a Full-Time Job

Описание: The child of an Ecuadorian immigrant mother who dedicated her life to 25 years of caregiving, Joshua would often accompany her to care for her patients, as well as assist his own grandmother in attending her medical appointments and religious services. Every day, he saw the importance of selfless service and caring for others. This environment raised him into a mindset of compassion and kindness towards others as a practice and way of life.

For 5 years, he served in the Marine Corps where he learned additional values in integrity, trust, and courage. Following his service, he pursued academic achievements that supported his desire to lead with empathy and purpose. He received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Additional experience leading at Amazon as an Operations Manager helped fine-tune these skillsets, and in 2022, he maintained his passion to help others by beginning Semper Transportation.

His goals remain to be a Customer Centric-business with industry-leading excellence, and a commitment to a welcoming environment for employees and patients alike. Joshua lives in the Inland Empire with his wife, two daughters, and their cat, Cammie.
