ရခိုင်က အာရက္ခတပ်တော် AA သိမ်းပိုက်ထိန်းချုပ်ထားတဲ့ မြို့နယ် ၁၄ ခုအထဲက မြို့နယ် ၁၀ ခုမှာ စစ်ကော်မရှင်ရဲ့ လွှတ်တော် ၃ ရပ် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲမကျင်းပဘူးလို့ စစ်ကော်မရှင်ရဲ့ ပြည်ထောင်စုရွေးကောက်ပွဲ ကော်မရှင်က မနေ့က စက်တင်ဘာလ ၁၄ ရက်နေ့မှာ ထုတ်ပြန်ကြေညာလိုက်ပါတယ်။

စစ်ကော်မရှင်ဟာ လာမဲ့ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၂၈ ရက်နေ့မှာ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲ ပထမအပိုင်းကို ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ဖို့ပြင်ဆင်ထားပြီး လက်ရှိမှာ ရခိုင်က AA သိမ်းထားမြို့နယ်တွေမှာ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲမကျင်းပနိုင်တာကို ထုတ်ပြန်လာတာလည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

On September 14, the Union Election Commission announced that parliamentary elections in three chambers will not be held in 10 out of the 14 townships in Rakhine State currently under the control of the Arakan Army (AA).

The commission has been preparing to hold the first phase of elections on December 28, but it has now declared that elections cannot take place in the townships seized by the AA in Rakhine.
