Описание: Prof.Dr.Mehmet Baha Karan, Bankacılığın geçirdiği değişim ile para ve piyasaların medeniyetleri nasıl şekillendirdiği hakkında konuştu. Bankacılık bugün olduğu hale nasıl geldi? Bu süreçte medeniyetler paraya bağlı nasıl değişimler geçirdi? Prof. Dr. Karan received his BA from the Department of Business Administration at METU in 1978 and his PhD from Gazi University in 1984. He has been a faculty member at Hacettepe University since 1995. Known for his research in the fields of banking and finance, Prof. Karan has authored over 80 national and international publications. He took part in the establishment of the Hacettepe University Financial Research Center (HÜFAM), served as a director, and contributed to the development of the banking sector. He also took part in the establishment of the Finance Association and served in important roles such as general secretary and president.
