This week's Throwback Thursday classic goal - sponsored by the World of Cars - is Guy Whittingham's record-breaking strike against Bristol Rovers in 1993.
Whittingham broke Billy Hanies' 66-year-old record of 43 goals in a single season for Pompey, with this emphatic effort at thesame time of asking.
It may not have been the prettiest of strikes, but it remains one of the most historic Blues goals, as part of a 2-1 away win.
In all, 'Corporal Punishment' would amass a haul of 47 goals across all domestic competitions (not including the Anglo-Italian Cup), which will likely never be beaten.
