Aimed towards a mid-sized family, the new Mitsubishi Xpander proves to cover all bases in terms of practicality.
We really enjoyed having the Xpander on test as it has a great ride quality with quite decent standard equipment coming in the auto variant we received. The only real issue was the lack of power due to the car being a bit more on the heavy side, making it hard to do safe overtaking manoeuvres at higher motorway speeds.
Another thing to note about this car is that the throttle response is sensitive at lower speeds and takes some getting used to. Other than that the car definitely serves its purpose for a family, or even if you’re thinking of using one as a taxi/Uber car.
