This was such a fun event! The staff and volunteers did an incredible job organizing and creating an uplifting atmosphere. It was a perfect environment for my first race in almost a year. I was so nervous beforehand that I had to find Spencer and ask for a hug; lol I needed comfort. Once the gun went off though, the nerves disappeared and I was able to enjoy the race. It felt great to be a competitor again, and I'm excited for more races! #AllieOstrander #RoadRacing #5k #FreihofersRunForWomen #TheAthleteSpecial
