Highlights include the massive standing Buddha at Wat Phra Si Iriyabot, the elegant structures of Wat Phra That, and the three Buddhas of Wat Phra Kaeo — the enduring symbol of the city.
Our visit coincided with Loi Krathong, adding a vibrant riverside festival to a day exploring the ancient city.
