Riding Vietnam’s Coast – Fish Farms, Dog Attacks & Tet in Quy Nhon

Описание: Today I continue my Vietnam scooter tour riding north along the coast from Tuy Hoa to Quy Nhon.

Before leaving the city I stop at VPBank, one of the best banks in Vietnam for foreign travellers. I withdraw 10 million Vietnamese dong and the commission is only about $5, which is one of the lowest ATM fees I have found in the country.

Back on the road I stop along the coastline where the entire ocean has been turned into a massive fish farming operation. The scale of the farms is unbelievable, so I launch the drone to show just how big these floating fish farms really are.

Along the road I meet and chat with local workers travelling to and from the fish farms — always good banter and friendly locals.

Next I try to reach the beach at Bai Rang, riding through a rough coastal village. Things get interesting when I’m suddenly chased by a pack of dogs while trying to get through the narrow streets.

Eventually I make it through and continue the journey north to Quy Nhon, where the city is still celebrating Tết, the biggest holiday of the year in Vietnam.

Another unpredictable day on the road exploring real Vietnam.
