The other move we went out to see yesterday was 5J26 Toton - East Lancashire Railway with newly repainted HST Power Cars 43025 in IC Swallow and 43060 in GNER liveries. As well as 3 Mk3s in IC 125 livery. 43025 and the Mk3s are owned by the 125 Group, whilst 43060 is owned by 125 Heritage, these were all revealed at a private event at Loughborough Brush works last month for 125 Group members.
We caught this move after filming 34067 Tangemere at Queensville curve, I had originally planned to film this at Noose Lane level crossing but changed my mind and just went to Pleck Park. There were more folks there to film this move than there usually are! It was halted at a signal to allow a 196 to pass bound for Shrewsbury, but that did at least allow for some other shots to be filmed here.
These Power Cars and Mk3s looked immaculate and are a real credit to all the staff at Loughborough who were involved in the repaint of these.
