Ingredients:
Garlic: 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Ginger: 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Onion: ½ cup (finely sliced)
Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
Kashmiri chili powder: ½ tablespoon
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder: 1 teaspoon
Prawns: 1 kg
Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
Salt: as required
Tomato: 2 (finely chopped)
Vinegar: 2 tablespoons
Curry leaves: as needed
Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients (garlic, ginger, onion, black pepper powder, Kashmiri chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, prawns, turmeric powder, salt, tomato, and vinegar) in a bowl until well combined.
2. Cover the bowl and cook the mixture on low heat.
3. Let the water released from the prawns evaporate completely.
4. Once done, add curry leaves.
5. Adjust the consistency as per your preference—either semi-gravy (peralan style) or fry it well until dry.
Serve hot and enjoy!
