A recent Pulse Asia survey has revealed that more than half of Filipinos disagree with the arrest and turnover of former president Rodrigo Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC). The survey, conducted between May 6 and 9, indicates that 58% of Filipinos disagree with Duterte's arrest. Duterte, currently in ICC custody since March, faces accusations of crimes against humanity stemming from his controversial war on drugs, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of as many as 30,000 people. Duterte's home region of Mindanao shows overwhelming disapproval, with 96% opposing his arrest. The survey indicates that Duterte maintains high trust ratings among Filipinos, with 63% expressing trust in him.
