Help fund our documentary for schools!

In the summer of 2025 we brought a powerful show to the stage in Amsterdam; 'Welcome to the Family!' The show explored the complex world of queer family life and brought powerful personal stories to life through song and dance. ​

Motivated by your warm feedback and encouragement, we want to create a short documentary that will serve as a powerful educational resource for teachers in Dutch schools to discuss what it's like growing up as LGBTQ+ in schools today, and to identify how LGBTQ+ pupils can be supported better.

The project has received guidance from COC Nederland, who will help distribute the documentary once it is made, but we need your financial help to make the project a reality. That's why we're crowd funding this project with Go Fund Me.

Steun onze documentaire voor scholen!
In de zomer van 2025 brachten we een indrukwekkende show op de planken in Amsterdam: ‘Welcome to the Family!’. In deze voorstelling verkenden we de complexe wereld van het queer gezinsleven en brachten we krachtige, persoonlijke verhalen tot leven via zang en dans.

Gedreven door jullie hartverwarmende reacties en aanmoedigingen willen we nu een korte documentaire maken. Deze zal dienen als een waardevol lespakket voor docenten op Nederlandse scholen om het gesprek aan te gaan over hoe het is om vandaag de dag als LHBTIQ+ jongere op te groeien, en om te kijken hoe deze leerlingen beter ondersteund kunnen worden.

Het project wordt begeleid door COC Nederland, die ook zal helpen bij de verspreiding van de documentaire zodra deze klaar is. Maar om dit project echt te kunnen realiseren, hebben we jullie financiële hulp nodig. Daarom zijn we een crowdfunding gestart via GoFundMe.
