This recipe is versatile, allowing you to adapt it to your liking and even consider turning it into a profitable business. Ingredients:
all-purpose flour
-very chilled margarine
2-3 tbsp powdered milk
A pinch of salt
Corned beef (2 tins)
2 large onions (chopped)
1 tsp powdered pepper (optional)
½ tsp all-purpose seasoning(optional)
½ tsp chicken seasoning (optional)
Water or egg wash (for sealing)
Egg + milk (for brushing)
Baking Temp & Time:
Preheat oven to 150°C. Bake for 35-40 minutes depending on your oven type or until golden and flaky.
Tips:
😊 Begin by adding all your dry ingredients, mix till everything is combined then add your chilled margarine (I kept my margarine in the freezer for 20 minutes)
🤗 Mix with fingertips only-do not overwork the
dough!
🤗 Chill the dough for at least 15-20 minutes before rolling.
🥳Let the pies cool before removing them from the tray to avoid breaking.
