Welcome to our first ever 'Rambles through History Special'. In this episode join James as he explores three religious sites in Llangollen, North Wales.
Starting off in the centre of Llangollen James takes a look around the churchyard of St Collen's church which was founded by St Collen back in the 7th century before moving on to the 12th century church of St Tysilio close to the Horseshoe Falls.
Finally James pays a visit to Vella Crucis abbey founded in 1201AD to take a look at what remains today and to explore the buildings including the chapter house and monks dormitory where the monks once rested.
