A telephone pole support was driven right through this customer’s sewer lateral, completely crushing it. After trenchless removal of all the collapsed PVC and telephone pole support, there was no pipe left for 2 feet. Everything was removed remotely from a small access pit in the customer’s yard using special equipment, robots, milling machines, septic trucks, and more.

It took two full days to clean the pipe alone, not including an extra day for lining, and roughly 40 feet of 6-inch piping packed solid with rocks was cleared.

We repaired the pipe with a fully structural fiberglass pipe liner, all done trenchless from that same small access point. Digging at the actual location wasn’t an option because there was a live city water main right above the pipe and winter conditions made it too risky.

As you can see in the video, the job came out perfectly. Another one for the record books!
