Описание: Tension escalated in Bengaluru after a protest was held without official permission in support of Iran’s Supreme Leader. Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara has issued a stern warning, stating that strict action will be taken against those who organized and participated in the unauthorized protest.The demonstration reportedly took place on Richmond Road, which authorities have termed illegal due to lack of prior approval. The minister clarified that Freedom Park is the designated venue for protests in the city, and any gathering elsewhere without permission will attract legal consequences.
Parameshwara said, “Whoever it may be, rules must be followed. If there is any violation, we will review and take necessary action.” He emphasized that the law applies equally to all citizens and political groups. The police are currently discussing the legal course of action against those involved in the protest.Interestingly, this development comes a day after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed condolences over Khamenei’s death. However, the Home Minister has made it clear that emotional reactions cannot override legal procedures.
