Eric Putkonen talks about control, manipulation, and future seeking. He also makes reference to Karma Yoga. He also references a line from Bab'Aziz, "It suffices to walk, just walk. Those who are invited will find the way." It is a different mindset to focus on the here and now...openly receptive, listening, and responding with action (and enjoying the journey)...than...focusing on the outcome and thinking that I need to do this to cause this outcome (and focused on the outcome).
This video is one of 110+ videos about nonduality, enlightenment, and living awake and engaged. Each video tends to be down-to-earth and straightforward...even when talking about subtle or complex topics in nonduality/Advaita.
