राजस्थान के पूर्वी हिस्से में बहने वाले पांचना बांध के पानी की लहरें अब सिर्फ खेतों की प्यास नहीं बुझा रहीं, बल्कि सूबे के सियासी तापमान को उबाल पर ले आई हैं। पिछले 14 दिनों से कमाण्ड क्षेत्र के हजारों किसान, महिलाएं और पंच-पटेल 'महापंचायत' लगाकर धरने पर बैठे हैं। इसे लेकर कृषि मंत्री डॉ किरोड़ी लाल मीणा और कांग्रेस नेता सचिन पायलट भी सरकार से किसानों की मांगों पर ध्यान देने की अपील कर चुके है। वहीं कांग्रेस विधायक और राजस्थान विधानसभा में उप नेता प्रतिपक्ष रामकेश मीणा ने इस मामले को लेकर सरकार को चेतावनी दे दी है।

The waters flowing from the Panchna Dam in eastern Rajasthan are doing more than just quenching the thirst of the fields; they have sent the state's political temperature soaring. For the past 14 days, thousands of farmers, women, and community leaders (*Panch-Patels*) from the command area have been staging a sit-in protest following a *Mahapanchayat*. Agriculture Minister Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena and Congress leader Sachin Pilot have both urged the government to address the farmers' demands. Meanwhile, Congress MLA and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly, Ramkesh Meena, has issued a warning to the government regarding this issue.
