The result of my practice session experiments one Sunday evening. You may be thinking that I played the recorder like a guitar player, and you would probably be right. Tonight I was feeling that it's such a shame that recorders don't have pickup selectors like Electric guitars do. So, I wondered if it might be a good idea to simply have a few different recorders with different tones in order to select different sounds throughout a solo. Okay, so it's a lot of recorders, but even 4 recorders put together are still a lot smaller than one guitar. What do you think of my idea so far? I am always especially interested to see how far the black and white plastic school models of recorder can be pushed, partly just out of curiosity, and partly because I love to dream that it's possible that young people will start new wave of rock/jazz/metal with nothing more than their school recorders (if that's even happening anymore?)
