One of my favorite tools to practice buttercream piping designs and different techniques on is: STYROFOAM CAKES (aka dummy cakes).
These come in all different shapes and sizes and are great for marketing purposes as well - you can frost and decorate them, take pictures for your business, then reuse them for another design!
If you get buttercream directly onto the styrofoam though, this can shorten the lifespan of the dummy cake, so today's video shows you a super simple tip on how you can resuse your cake - which will save you money and you’ll be able to use your cakes multiple times!
